Herbafertil is packaged in a cylindrical jute bag approximately 30cm long, approximately 14cm in diameter and weighing approximately 3.0 kg.

It is installed by drilling a hole in the root zone of the tree or shrub, approximately 2/3 of the distance from the center of the plant to the crown rim, by inserting the bag into the hole and watering it well, after which Herbafertil will expand approximately 10%. After installation, the bag must not be covered with soil because only an uncovered bag allows gas exchange in the root system.

It is the only plant substrate on the market that does not shrink after installation, but rather increases in volume by approximately 10%.
